INION RAN Bibliographic Databases

Since the mid-1980s, INION RAN has developed bibliographic databases specializing in social and human sciences. By January 31, 2020, these databases have accumulated nearly 4 million records, with continuous annual updates adding new data.

The databases include bibliographic records of books and scientific articles from journals and collections in 140 languages, received by the INION RAN Fundamental Library. These records provide keywords, classification codes from the INION RAN rubricator on social and human sciences, annotations, storage codes, and links to the full texts available on the Scientific Electronic Library.

The results themselves are displayed on a separate page; due to the technical features of the system, loading may take some time. The page text lists the databases, showing the number of documents found in each. These numbers are hyperlinks leading to the corresponding document lists, accessed through the main interface of the INION RAN databases.

Professional Search

For more advanced search queries, use the main interface of the INION RAN databases. Begin by selecting the database you are interested in from the table above. The start page will appear on your screen, where you can complete a registration form or enter your username and password if you are already registered. Registration applies universally to all databases. A guest account (default username and password) is available, but it will provide limited system capabilities.

The query language is fairly complex, so we advise you to carefully review the search instructions before beginning.
